  • What is health coaching?
    I believe that health coaches are currently the missing link in healthcare. Health coaches like me help people/you make lasting behavioural changes to control those anxious worrying paralysing thoughts, unpleasant physiological feelings in your body, turn back the tide of chronic disease, and live your best life.
  • Who is right for health coaching?
    Health Coaching is for you if you are serious about taking charge of your own health and wellbeing. Sick of feeling exhausted, frustrated, tired, confused, stuck, and overwhelmed. You need someone to listen to you without judgement, provide inspiration, scientific advice, tips, and a lot of accountability for assisting you to look after and improve your well-being needs?   • What does health coaching involve?
    You’ll receive coaching sessions uncovering your current health, well-being and life issues, obstacles and discovering what is most important to you. You’ll receive feedback, tailored plans, and training on the areas you want to improve. You will have daily access to me/ your coach and all the support you need. I will provide access to many resources, as required, to assist you in achieving your goals, e.g. meal plans, dietary advice, supplements, physical and mindful exercises.
  • Where and when are the coaching sessions held?
    We will work out a time and day that suits you. Typically sessions are 60 minutes long and are held weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on the plan you select. It will be tailored to your needs. Typically, my coaching is delivered online via a secure video link-up, or if you are in Auckland, you can come to my space set up in my Titirangi, West Auckland Home. You receive 24/7 text, email, and messenger support for those moments when you need it most, while I am your health coach.
  • I’m worried about the technology, like using a video link-up. I feel like I got left behind in the 80’s, don’t have a tech savvy child and or haven’t done much online before.
    You’ll be absolutely fine! I am also a bit tech challenged, so I can appreciate your worried about this too! The platform we use can be GOOGLE meets or an equivalent one that suits us both. I will help you every step of the way. You do need internet access for resources and online coaching.
  • Will I see a return on my investment?

You can share your doubts and goals openly in ways that are sometimes hard to achieve with your GP, friends, family, whanau and/or spouse.
  • Are coaching sessions confidential?
    Of course. what you discuss in a session is just between you and me-your coach. I work within the ICF coaching guidelines and HCANZA coaching principles, and code of ethics.

I have a vision and special passion to help you manage and improve your anxiety, mental wellbeing first and foremost and prevent, manage and, where possible, cure/reverse lifestyle diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, dementia and cancer using holistic lifestyle behaviour strategies, which I also use on a daily basis. I call these pillars of wellbeing.
